The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Muskingum County (OSUACMC) conducted a special community service project to donate both money and needed items to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society as part of the 2017 “Buckeyes Give” Month of Service.  The OSU Alumni Association annually seeks participation from its more than 100 alumni clubs and over 40 alumni societies in community service projects during the month of April. 

On Wednesday, April 5, members of OSUACMC visited the local Animal Shelter to deliver to Executive Director Jody Murray a variety of numerous items on the shelter’s Wish List collected by the club, in addition to a check for $100.00 which may be used by the shelter as seen fit to help to feed and care for animals housed at the shelter.  Over $1,000 worth of supplies and food was donated by club members during this worthy project.
