The OSU Alumni Club of Muskingum County (OSUACMC) conducted a special community service project to donate money and personal care and household items to the Community Cupboard at Grace United Methodist Church as part of the “Buckeyes Give” Month of Service during April. The Ohio State University Alumni Association emphasized participation from its more than 100 alumni clubs and over 40 alumni societies in service projects during the Ohio State Days of Giving April 1-15, 2025.

Grace Community Cupboard provides essential household and personal hygiene items to individuals and families in need in Muskingum County. The services are free, and proof of income is not required. Anyone in Muskingum County who is in need is eligible for help from the Grace Community Cupboard. The program welcomes single adults, a household of adults, or a household with children, and is located at Grace Church, 516 Shinnick Street, Zanesville, OH 43701. The Community Cupboard is in its second year and is supporting 250-300 families each month.

The Alumni Club delivered its donations of over $350 in cash and over $1,000 in products on Thursday, April 10 to director Renee Ward and Grace volunteers.  Several club members remained at the church for over two hours to restock the shelves as part of the service project.
