Nine (9) high school graduating seniors and five (5) current Ohio State students have been named recipients of scholarships from The OSU Alumni Club of Muskingum County for the 2015-16 academic year. 

The college freshmen-to-be receiving scholarships are as follows:

• Emily Watson ($500) and Rebecca Wheeler ($600 ASP) – Tri-Valley HS.

• Karley Stackhouse ($500) – Bishop Rosecrans HS.

• Joseph Zarba ($500), Maclin Masterson ($500), and Douglas Welker ($500) – Zanesville HS.

• Seth Mirgon ($500 and $250 at College Night 2015), Erik Engdahl ($500), and Shahrzad Frost ($500) – West Muskingum HS.

The recipients of the Scholarships for Current OSU Students are the following:

1. Taylor Blatt (Zanesville HS 2012 – Hospitality Management)

2. Ellison Fellers (Tri-Valley HS 2014 – Environment, Economic Development and Sustainability)

3. Dalton Flanagan (Tri-Valley HS 2013 – Computer Science and Engineering)

4. Nicholas Mateja (Tri-Valley HS 2011 – Actuarial Science)

5. Jamie Smith (Zanesville HS 2013 – English)

The 2015 scholarship winners will be recognized during the Annual Full Membership Meeting of The OSU Alumni Club of Muskingum County, which will be held Thursday, August 6, at 7:00 pm at VFW Post 1058 in Zanesville.
